Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about agriculture? Join our team as a Shipper/Receiver and play a vital role in ensuring our parts and equipment get where they need to go - quickly, accurately, and safely. In this hands-on role, based out of our Medicine Hat branch, you’ll be responsible for receiving inbound freight, shipping outbound items, and supporting our technicians and customers with timely deliveries. You’ll help maintain inventory accuracy, manage returns, and contribute to a clean, efficient parts department. Responsibilities: Prioritize and unload daily machine-down and stock orders; notify customers promptly. Load packing lists and process shipments with accuracy. Scan and accurately document freight and parcel received. Report shortages or damaged parts to the Parts Inventory Analyst. Deliver ordered parts to technician bins in the shop. Pick and ship transfers to other locations; receive and distribute incoming transfers. Package and ship monthly surplus returns. Monitor and return pallets, oil drums, enviro-crates, and cores when quantities justify. Assist with daily and year-end inventory counts to maintain accuracy. Follow up with other branches, vendors, and John Deere regarding shortages, delays, and credits. Promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns. Maintain a clean, organized parts department and ensure tools and equipment are in working order. Provide excellent customer service and support other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Highschool Diploma or GED Experience: 1+ year in agriculture equipment shipping and receiving or a related field. Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset. People-Focused: Team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service. Soft Skills: Attention to Detail, strong time management, ability to work independently, and adaptability. Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
