This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Service Provider Portal Product Owner in the United States.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of a critical Service Provider Portal and CRM system. As the Product Owner, you will act as the voice of the business and the customer, translating complex needs into actionable product features. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data, and state operations, to ensure the portal is secure, scalable, and optimized for seamless user experience. The role requires strategic vision, hands-on engagement in agile software development, and strong stakeholder management across multiple geographies and time zones. This position allows you to influence system-wide performance, drive data integrity, and help the organization meet regulatory and operational goals effectively.

Accountabilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the Service Provider Portal and CRM system.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and clarity of requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to define, design, and deliver platform features and fixes.
  • Develop strategies for data collection, validation, and reporting to support compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Lead internal user acceptance testing (UAT), including scenario creation, team training, and coordinating issue resolution.
  • Work with state teams and internal stakeholders to define requirements, data validations, and reporting needs.
  • Partner with Salesforce and data processing developers to optimize platform capabilities and improve user experience.
  • Support cross-functional projects and other duties as assigned, maintaining effective communication across diverse teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product development or product management, ideally with CRM systems.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Jira, Salesforce, Experience Cloud, and Workday is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data validation, governance, and integration best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Agile development experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with solid waste, recycling, packaging reporting, or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) data is an asset.
