This role offers a unique opportunity to design, develop, and optimize complex web applications within a dynamic, collaborative environment. The Senior Web Developer will focus on building scalable, maintainable web pages and components, integrating APIs, and improving performance across digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and analytics to ensure projects meet business objectives. This position also emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, enforcing coding standards, and driving best practices for web development. Ideal candidates are highly autonomous, proactive problem-solvers, and capable of delivering high-quality solutions efficiently. While the role is remote, preference is given to candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones to facilitate collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web pages, components, and applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Build and manage reusable AEM templates and components for scalability and consistency.
  • Integrate APIs, authentication layers (OAuth), and analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and enforce repository best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security, performance, and infrastructure issues.
  • Deliver projects independently with high quality and on schedule.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to process and workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align web initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of full-stack web development experience with complex web applications.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript (object-oriented), React, CSS, PostCSS, HTML, PHP, SQL, and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Docker, MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter), and AWS products (CloudFormation, S3, Route 53).
  • Experience with SQL/MySQL, API creation, REST integrations, and platforms like Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of web application security, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects independently, accurately, and on time.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
