Senior Technical Test Analyst

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Test Analyst to bring advanced testing expertise, strong analytical skills, and effective coordination to our team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality testing services—whether as part of a dedicated project or within a managed testing environment. You may also lead teams, offering guidance on procedures and processes to drive excellence across projects. A key aspect of this position involves developing technical skills and gaining valuable commercial experience to meet customer satisfaction and contractual commitments. You’ll work closely with account teams and clients to deliver exceptional outcomes. This is a Hybrid working role, where you will be based x3 per week onsite in Farnborough in Hampshire. What you'll be doing: Apply industry best practice to the Testing Processes Provide domain knowledge to support delivery in specialised areas of functional and non-functional testing. Elicit and/or clarify detailed testing requirements where they are missing or vague Produce and review Test Plans Develop Test Cases (scenarios) and Test Scripts for infrastructure systems (servers, storage, network and virtualization). Create and manage test data Support and execute all levels of testing by actively co-ordinating other parties involved in the project and to document and verify test results. Produce basic metrics on tests executed and incidents raised and proactively facilitate the resolution of errors. To use testing tools, as required, and assist with tool evaluation as appropriate Produce Test Completion Reports What you’ll bring: Good understanding of test tooling such as Azure DevOps or Jira Demonstrable experience of working as a Senior Technical Test Analyst Good technical background Proven experience in infrastructure testing or system engineering Critical thinking skills Ability to work independently It would be great if you had: International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Technical Test Analyst Advanced Level Certification or equivalent certification. Good knowledge of the latest developments and future strategies for their areas of specialism.
