The post holder will work alongside experienced IT Infrastructure professionals to assist in meeting the capacity demands of the IT Service as well as ensuring that Leicestershire County Council has a stable, reliable and resilient technical infrastructure to support the organisation. We are looking for individuals with plenty of energy to drive forward change and assist with the introduction of new innovative technology services. The advertised role is full-time posts working 37 hours per week with the occasional need to work outside of usual 9-5 business hours. About You To apply for this post, you must: Come with a sound technical background and you’ll also be willing to learn and keep on top of new innovations in technology, in particular with firewall technologies. Know how to communicate with service users both internally and externally as well as key suppliers and partners. As well as having key technical knowledge and skills you will be able to co-ordinate, monitor and control high value outputs and new innovation into operational practice. Take on new challenges and work within a high-performance team to deliver high quality outcomes. You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
