This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in the United States.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex aerospace systems and ensuring mission success for clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, verify, and troubleshoot system requirements, interfaces, and diagnostics. This role involves analyzing aircraft parametric data, designing health monitoring solutions, and supporting operators with technical specifications. You will also help define test scripts, evaluate system logic, and contribute to innovative solutions that simplify aerospace and defense product lifecycles. This position is ideal for engineers passionate about high-impact, technical problem solving in a collaborative and evolving environment.

Accountabilities

·        Develop system and component-level requirements for design and verification within Systems Engineering projects.

·        Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and interfaces for custom aerospace components.

·        Design, develop, and validate airplane health diagnostics and prognostics systems.

·        Troubleshoot airplane health alerts and onboard systems issues.

·        Support airline operators in building airplane health requirements and specifications.

·        Create and execute test scripts, define test scenarios, and evaluate system logic.

·        Maintain documentation for system requirements, interfaces, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

·        5+ years of experience in aircraft system development within cross-functional team environments.

·        Expertise in A429 bus architecture and various data bus signal formats (BNR, BCD, Analog, Discrete).

·        Experience with A429 data analyzers, data acquisition systems, and interpreting aircraft system ICDs.

·        Proficiency in defining clear, concise, and verifiable system requirements.

·        Experience in logic definition, test script writing, and system test scenario creation.

·        Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in technical and lab environments.

·        Preferred: Flight test experience, avionics or LRU engineering experience, and systems testing exposure.

·        Must be a U.S. person to work with government-sensitive data.
