We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in telecom engineering to join a collaborative, innovation-driven team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance software solutions that optimize telecom operations and business outcomes. You will take ownership of coding, testing, and debugging while contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting best practices. The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic influence, allowing you to guide technical direction, improve processes, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. You will work in a flexible environment, collaborating across teams to solve complex problems and ensure software reliability. This role also offers opportunities to engage in continuous learning and professional development, while participating in critical business projects that impact enterprise-wide operations.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and optimize software for telecom systems, improving efficiency and reliability.

·         Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and validate software against acceptance criteria.

·         Document code and projects to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

·         Analyze the impact of changes across multiple applications and provide effective solutions.

·         Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Agile sprint commitments.

·         Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering team growth and collaboration.

·         Participate in on-call rotations and support production issue resolution.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

·         Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications.

·         Skilled in developing omnichannel conversational flows using platforms such as Genesys Cloud CX Architect.

·         Proficient in APIs, data modeling, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.

·         Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

·         Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodology and mission-critical enterprise applications.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         Preferred: experience leading technical teams, observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog), API security, and REST/SOAP web services.
