We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing team focused on smart trailer and connected equipment solutions. In this role, you will develop full-stack software and integrate sensor-based systems to monitor, track, and optimize equipment usage. You will have the opportunity to influence product strategy, drive scalable solutions, and ensure technical excellence while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes real-world impact, enabling customers to improve safety, efficiency, and operational visibility across industries. You will mentor other engineers, contribute to architecture discussions, and champion best practices while balancing iterative delivery with long-term system health. This role is remote, providing flexibility while offering exposure to innovative IoT technologies and a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end software solutions for smart trailers and connected equipment.

·         Integrate sensor data and telematics systems to monitor equipment usage, temperature, and location.

·         Collaborate with Engineering Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure long-term technical health of products.

·         Mentor and guide other engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.

·         Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile sprint activities.

·         Advocate for best practices in software engineering, system reliability, and scalable architectures.

·         Incorporate customer feedback and metrics to continually improve product functionality and performance.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

·         8+ years of software development experience with full-stack expertise.

·         Proficiency in Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, or similar languages and frameworks.

·         Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

·         Experience in deploying and scaling 0-to-1 products, and working with production ML models is a plus.

·         Familiarity with geolocation data, system performance, and reliability practices.

·         Ability to balance iterative delivery with long-term technical planning and customer-centric design.
