This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer in the United States.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop and lead innovative software solutions in the field of fraud and financial crimes detection. The Senior Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-quality software across full-stack environments, while mentoring junior developers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will work in a continuous integration and delivery setting, contributing to the development of SAS Anti-Money Laundering and related products on multiple platforms. The role emphasizes technical excellence, creativity, and adherence to security standards. You will have the chance to influence product design, take ownership of complex projects, and participate in open-source initiatives. This position supports a flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement within select U.S. states.

Accountabilities

  • Lead new feature development for existing and new customer solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering skill growth and best practices.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, managers, and designers to ensure implementations meet functional and R&D standards.
  • Participate in technical discussions and assume leadership for complex software development projects.
  • Contribute to open-source projects on behalf of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and software development processes.
  • Promote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of experience developing web applications.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including presentation, logic, and server layers.
  • Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, and at least one of SQL, Go, Angular, or React.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
  • Familiarity with SAS Viya platforms, SAS language, and Visual Investigator solutions.
  • Knowledge of databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or SQLServer.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, GitHub Enterprise, and Gerrit.
  • Strong problem-solving, quality orientation, and adherence to work standards.
