Accountabilities:

• Build, test, and maintain web software applications and internal tools.
• Analyze requirements and propose optimal solutions, suggesting innovative approaches where appropriate.
• Identify technical risks and proactively implement solutions.
• Mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and foster knowledge sharing across the team.
• Collaborate across teams to improve development processes and adopt best practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies for prioritization, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Promote the use of design patterns and software engineering best practices.

• Degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience supporting and mentoring junior to intermediate developers.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases and SQL optimization.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and source control software.
• Comfortable working in Agile product development frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical details effectively and deliver solutions aligned with requirements.
• Experience improving and maintaining code for large datasets and high-volume applications.
• Nice-to-have: Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Salesforce integration, AWS exposure, bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, or German.
