Senior Signature Engineer – DPI | Dubai or Remote We’re looking for a Senior Signature Engineer with strong expertise in Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to join a high-performance engineering team. This role is all about creating and optimising signature rules that enable accurate, real-time traffic detection across complex networks. The role You’ll design, test, and maintain signatures and detection patterns for DPI engines, ensuring protocols, anomalies, and traffic behaviours are correctly identified. Your work will directly support real-time analysis, policy enforcement, and the optimisation of large-scale data platforms. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality DPI signatures and rules Analyse network protocols and payloads to identify patterns and anomalies Reverse engineer network traffic samples to build new signatures Validate signature accuracy, performance, and false positive rates Monitor live traffic environments and fine-tune detection rules Keep documentation updated for both custom and standard signatures Track emerging protocols, applications, and traffic behaviours What’s on offer Competitive salary (depending on location) Flexible working - Dubai HQ or fully remote Work with cutting - edge data and streaming technologies
