Job Summary: As an Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of IT projects. You will be a natural leader who practises common sense, remains calm, and is able to support, nurture and train individuals on the project deliverables. Being a strong communicator is essential to be able to get the job done, assigning instructions to engineers as well as updating key stakeholders along the way. The solutions that are offered to our customers can be varied and may often involve multiple vendors and 3rd parties so the ability to connect at all levels and overcome challenges is vital. Key Responsibilities Work on multiple projects at the same time ensuring they are delivered on budget and on schedule Responsible for the design and installation of projects as and when required Build in-depth project plans and ensure they are followed through to completion Ensure clients and stakeholders are informed of project progress Escalate issues as appropriate to project stakeholders Ensure projects are delivered against the defined standards Manage third party contractors, as and when required Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after installation Provide guidance and assistance to Project Engineers Lead by example Ensure time is accurately logged for all project work Ensure guides, documentation and standards are kept up-to-date Carry out cabling installations and maintenance Attend site meetings, as and when required Suggest improvement ideas if and when identified Manual handling and heavy lifting, if and when required Keep clients informed of upcoming works in a prompt and professional manner Provide other team members support with project queries Provide the sales team with technical pre-sales support, if and when required Flexible with working hours i.e. unsociable hours Travelling to and from client sites, as and when required Good time keeping and management Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required - Experience managing IT Projects Required - Experience working with complex, multi-dependant and multi-stakeholder projects. Required - Ability to work in an organised fashion and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Required - Good understanding of on-premises and Cloud IT solutions and best practices. Required - Great communication skills. Advantageous - Experience and good working knowledge of MS Project Advantageous - Experience within an MSP environment Advantageous - Good working knowledge of Azure, 365, SharePoint, Networking, Wi-Fi, Voice Advantageous - Experience of working with suppliers like Openreach, Gamma, TTB Advantageous - Experience of managing IT Projects within the construction sector Advantageous - Project Management Qualifications (E.g.
