  • Support and lead maintainability, testability, and reliability testing, including HALT/HASS and Reliability Enhancement Tests (RET).
  • Review designs to optimize safety and reliability metrics, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Develop and implement improvements to processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to integrate reliability practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, and lead failure review board meetings and corrective action initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering.
  • Deep expertise in reliability predictions and engineering methodologies (FMEA, FMECA, FTA, RCA).
  • Experience managing engineering teams and technical projects.
  • Knowledge of analog/digital circuit analysis and mechanical design analysis.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, trend evaluation, and reliability modeling.
  • Ability to conduct and oversee reliability testing and communicate complex technical information to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with industry standards such as SAE ARP 4754/4761, MIL-STD-882E, and related reliability tools and processes.
  • Proficiency with software and scripting tools for analysis, as well as MS Office for data evaluation.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $124,000 – $250,000.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching and retirement contributions.
  • Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment programs.
  • Life and disability insurance, optional coverages including pet, home, and auto insurance.
  • Paid parental, adoption, and family leave benefits.
