At AXA Group Operations, we want to be recognized in three fields of action: State-of-the-art Data Technology to drive customer experience State-of-the-art Procurement & Sourcing to drive efficiency and better manage risks High-Performing Global Team for stronger partnerships with AXA entities About the Role As a Senior PMO within AXA’s AI Transformation Program, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and supporting the delivery of strategic AI initiatives across key business domains including claims, contact centers, pricing/underwriting, and software engineering. You will ensure effective program governance, facilitate collaboration among diverse teams, manage risks and dependencies, and drive the overall success of the transformation efforts. This role is central to enabling AXA's ambitious AI transformation, which aims to scale innovative AI solutions across the Group, leveraging standardized platforms to promote efficiency, reuse, and operational flexibility. Key Responsibilities Program Coordination & Oversight Support the development and maintenance of the program scope, objectives, artefacts, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Facilitate the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and impact of AI initiatives. Coordinate regular program rhythm, including governance meetings, ceremonies, and sharing environments (e.g., SharePoint, Teams). Monitor interdependencies across multiple workstreams and ensure consistency in approach and artefacts. Identify, escalate, and assist in mitigating risks, issues, and open items affecting program delivery. Governance & Reporting Orchestrate governance processes to enable effective decision-making and stakeholder engagement at all levels. Support adherence to program management standards and artefacts, including status reporting, documentation, and file sharing. Track and report on KPIs related to workstream progress, effectiveness, and impact, especially regarding AI and Data initiatives. Provide regular updates on program status, challenges, and achievements to sponsors and senior leadership. Financial & Vendor Management Assist in resource planning and budget oversight to ensure optimal allocation of funds and staffing across the program. Support the development and monitoring of the AI Transformation business case, including funding, investment, and charging models. Coordinate and support vendor selection processes, RFPs, and partnership management relevant to AI solutions. Change Management & Communication Promote awareness and understanding of AI transformation initiatives within AXA and with external stakeholders. Foster collaboration across teams and entities, ensuring alignment and shared objectives. Support transversal change management efforts to facilitate adoption of new AI capabilities. Ad-hoc Support & Continuous Improvement Provide hands-on support to workstreams, helping resolve challenges and optimize delivery processes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of program management practices, tools, and templates. Expected skills & experience Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in managing large-scale transformation programs, preferably within insurance or financial services. Good understanding of Data & AI initiatives, including AI platform standardization and scaling strategies. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies in complex environments. Solid knowledge of program governance, KPIs, risk management, and reporting practices. Experience supporting vendor management, RFP processes, and business case development. Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
