This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Network Support Engineer, Tier III in the United States.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Support Engineer to join a dynamic, client-focused technical support team. In this role, you will provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for network and communication systems, supporting enterprise-level, high-density properties such as hotels, resorts, and multifamily communities. You will act as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The role requires strong technical expertise in LAN/WAN, enterprise wireless, routing, switching, and firewalls, along with excellent communication skills. This is an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with both remote flexibility and on-site collaboration, contributing to a team dedicated to delivering reliable network solutions and superior customer service.
Accountabilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex Tier II and Tier III network support cases.
- Troubleshoot endpoints, LAN/WAN connectivity, device provisioning, and associated protocols (ARP, DHCP, FTP, CDP/LLDP).
- Maintain and administer customer network infrastructure, including wireless, firewall/UTM, and enterprise equipment.
- Mentor and guide team members on technical, best practice, and customer service standards.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.
- Monitor team productivity and performance metrics, addressing variances and recommending improvements.
- Implement and enforce standard support policies, procedures, and best practices across the team.
- Remain available for on-call escalation issues, providing support during 24/7/365 call center operations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum three years in a network support capacity).
- At least five years of experience supporting enterprise-level, remote call centers or similar environments.
- Minimum three years of hands-on IP networking experience in customer-facing or service provider environments.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, enterprise wireless, TCP/IP, OSI model, and firewalls/UTM.
- Proficiency with at least three of the following: Ruckus Wireless, Aruba Wireless, Meraki Wireless, HP/Aruba Network, Catalyst, Nomadix, Fortinet, Watchguard; Linux/Unix administration is a plus.
- Excellent customer service orientation, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
