Senior Account Manager – Digital / PPC (Google Ads) Location: Belfast | Hybrid working We are currently partnering with a multi-award-winning digital advertising agency based in Belfast to recruit a Senior Account Manager with deep expertise in Digital and PPC advertising, particularly Google Ads. This is a senior, client-facing role suited to an experienced performance marketer who can lead strategy, manage high-value accounts, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, while also supporting the development of junior team members. The Opportunity The Senior Account Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, leading PPC and digital strategy end-to-end. You’ll be responsible for translating business objectives into scalable digital campaigns, driving performance through Google Ads and supporting wider digital channels where required. This role offers a high level of autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping paid media best practice across the agency. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead the digital and PPC strategy for a portfolio of clients, aligning paid media activity with broader business goals PPC Ownership: Take full ownership of Google Ads accounts, including Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Shopping Campaign Optimisation: Continuously optimise campaigns to improve efficiency, scale performance and maximise ROI Performance Analysis: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, insights and opportunities for growth Client Partnership: Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance, performance updates and recommendations Reporting & Insights: Deliver high-quality, insight-led reporting that clearly demonstrates value and informs next steps Account Growth: Identify and develop opportunities to expand accounts through additional PPC, digital or SEO activity Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practice across the team Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends and innovations, particularly within Google Ads and PPC What They’re Looking For Experience: 4+ years’ experience in a PPC or digital performance role, ideally within an agency environment Google Ads Expertise: Advanced, hands-on experience managing complex Google Ads accounts with significant budgets Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop and execute PPC strategies aligned to commercial objectives Client Management: Strong experience managing senior client stakeholders and long-term relationships Analytical Strength: High level of confidence working with data, attribution models and reporting tools including Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio Technical Knowledge: Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, able to clearly articulate performance and strategy Commercial Awareness: Strong business acumen, with the ability to spot growth opportunities and influence decision-making Attention to Detail: High standards of accuracy, structure and organisation What’s on Offer Competitive senior-level salary, dependent on experience Hybrid working model with a city-centre office in a premium serviced workspace Ongoing professional development and access to advanced training Opportunity to influence strategy across key accounts and the wider agency Duvet day – an extra day off when you need to switch off If you are interested in the above role, please click the APPLY button or alternatively, phone Kirsty on 07715582743.
