Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote - US)

This role is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure to support next-generation fintech platforms. You will work with a team of engineers on high-visibility migration projects, building automation frameworks and ensuring production readiness for critical financial services applications. The position emphasizes hands-on expertise in public cloud environments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code. You will drive operational excellence, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the long-term stability and scalability of complex systems. Collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role.

Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain resilient cloud-based infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production-ready systems.
• Collaborate on migration projects, ensuring seamless sequencing, validation, and runbook documentation.
• Configure, deploy, and manage containerized applications using ECS, Docker, or similar orchestration tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK for scalable resource management.
• Ensure security and compliance through proper configuration of security groups, IAM policies, and cross-account access.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and increase system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on expertise with DevOps tools, production readiness, and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD tooling (ARGO or equivalent).
• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Docker) and automation scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of system resilience, application architecture, and deployment automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, AI, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience with specialized training may be considered.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: AWS migration strategy, multi-account architecture, AWS Lambda/Batch, deep understanding of networking, and dependency mapping.
