WHAT YOU’LL DO * Optimise our cloud and on-prem infrastructure to maximise reliability and reduce costs. * Architect and shape the future platforms of our technology, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. * Develop automation tools that empower our operational teams to deliver technology efficiently and seamlessly. * Diagnose, triage, and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain maximum service uptime. * Gather insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement in how we deliver our technology. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * A strong understanding of Kubernetes. * Experience managing a medium sized multi account cloud platform. * Experience working with and using infrastructure as code tooling and CI/CD pipelines, e.g. Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible. * Experience managing BareMetal Kubernetes. * Experience working with GitOps workflows. * A degree in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) subject. * Self starter with initiative and the ability to pick up and develop projects independently. * Ability to work quickly and make effective decisions. * Intellectually curious and has the drive to ask the right questions in order to get to the bottom of complex issues. * An individual who is able to be flexible in working arrangements. * The ability to quickly grasp complex issues. * The ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines whilst remaining organised. NICE TO HAVES * Experience programming/scripting in a high level language, e.g. Python. * Low level understanding of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions. * Comfortable deploying self managed Kubernetes. LOCATION There is a choice between working remotely ±3 hours timezone from UK, or we also have offices in London and Winchester.
