We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data processing systems that support critical business operations and analytics. In this role, you will develop end-to-end data pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure data reliability and security across multiple platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for data governance, integration, and transformation. The role offers the opportunity to influence data strategy, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to high-impact projects. You will operate in a dynamic environment where technical excellence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are valued. This position emphasizes scalable solutions that provide accurate, timely, and actionable data to drive business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and continuously improve complex data systems and pipelines.

·         Build processes supporting data transformations, metadata management, and workload scheduling.

·         Execute unit testing to ensure high-quality, defect-free code.

·         Optimize data systems for efficient and reliable query performance across large datasets.

·         Implement and validate data governance policies, including data lineage, quality checks, and classification.

·         Maintain and enhance existing data solutions, including data warehouses, MDM, and middleware systems.

·         Support operational and analytical applications by ensuring high-performance and reliable ETL/ELT processes.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related quantitative field.

·         5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, designing and implementing data persistence, processing, integration, and MDM solutions.

·         Proven experience designing end-to-end data pipelines for ODS, staging, data warehousing, and data marts.

·         Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, including 3NF and dimensional modeling.

·         Familiarity with middleware concepts, API management, ESB, and MDM.

·         Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions, preferably using Azure DevOps.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

·         Commitment to high-quality standards, performance optimization, and data security.
