This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Architect in the United States.

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions that power critical business insights and decision-making. You will set the architectural vision while remaining hands-on, building scalable data pipelines, integrations, and models that meet high standards for quality, governance, and ethical data handling. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence upstream data generation, optimize data accuracy and usability, and ensure downstream analytics are powered by high-integrity information. Your contributions will shape the overall data strategy, improve organizational data practices, and enable actionable insights across the business. This is a highly collaborative, technically challenging, and impactful position in a forward-thinking environment.

Accountabilities

  • Design and implement scalable, reusable, and discoverable data pipelines and integrations aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to resolve data integrity issues and promote upstream improvements for long-term data quality.
  • Build analytical frameworks and prototype data models to support business decision-making and evaluate system effectiveness.
  • Track emerging trends in data engineering, architecture, and analytics, adapting technologies and methodologies to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements, deliver actionable insights, and articulate data-driven strategies.
  • Champion best practices in data governance, privacy, and ethical data handling across teams.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and architects, promoting standards and consistent practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PowerBI, Workday, Salesforce, or other data analytics tools.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, pipeline design, data integration, and architecture best practices.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and implement governance, quality, and privacy standards.
  • Experience in consulting, with 4+ years of client-facing engagement preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Master’s degree or additional certifications in data-related fields is a plus.
