Senior Biostatistician II (Remote - US)

As a Senior Biostatistician II, you will lead statistical efforts for Phase II-III clinical trials, overseeing the planning, analysis, and reporting of complex studies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide statistical expertise, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve mentoring junior statisticians, guiding study designs, and contributing to proposals and client-facing activities. You will have the opportunity to influence internal processes and implement best practices, while directly impacting the success of clinical development programs. This position offers a collaborative, innovative environment with exposure to a variety of therapeutic areas and study designs.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as lead biostatistician for programs, submissions, and individual studies, ranging from simple to complex Phase II-III trials.
• Oversee statistical activities supporting client interactions and regulatory submissions.
• Review and approve statistical sections of protocols, statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and study reports.
• Perform statistical programming using SAS and/or R for inferential analyses.
• Prepare and approve research proposals and budgets, providing statistical consulting to clients.
• Participate in bid defense and marketing presentations, offering statistical guidance.
• Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to initiatives improving internal processes and guidance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of biostatistical experience in clinical research, CROs, pharmaceutical, or biotech companies.
• Proven experience leading Phase II-III studies, including client engagement, timeline management, and resource oversight.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including supporting NDA applications and other regulatory submissions.
• Advanced ability to plan, implement, and monitor statistical processes across multiple studies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
