Senior Backend Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys solving real product challenges, shaping reliable systems, and helping a team level up. What You’ll Work On Build backend features using Node.js / NestJS with clean, scalable patterns Improve backend structure, modularity, and data flows Implement API endpoints and business logic with clarity and maintainability Review code and guide engineers toward better patterns Collaborate with frontend, product, and AI teams to design efficient solutions Identify small improvements that increase developer velocity Strengthen error handling, validation, and domain clarity across the backend Help the team avoid new tech debt while delivering fast Requirements Strong experience with NestJS Deep understanding of backend architecture patterns: Modular monolith Service + repository layering Dependency injection DTOs & validation Solid experience designing reliable, high-quality APIs Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code-organization skills Ability to guide other developers and establish patterns Experience with PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Experience improving backend performance or resolving bottlenecks Experience in event-driven or modular architectures Experience in AI-powered products (Claude, Cursor, Copilot)
