WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 


This role sits within the digital marketing and sales portfolio, focused on the online sales of 
Porsche vehicles. You will be part of the Content Hub Team, developing and evolving the 
Discover Tab in the My Porsche App – the central place where Porsche content is 
consolidated and presented to customers. This product showcases the most inspirational 
Porsche content, delivered to the right audience at the right time in their journey. As part of 
this newly formed team, you will help shape collaboration practices, foster local company 
culture, and establish new standards across our global network. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Design, implement, and maintain our product using modern frontend and backend technologies 
  • Lead, mentor, and coach software engineers, while collaborating closely with other teams 
  • Develop software architecture with a focus on performance, durability, quality, and scalability 
  • Build and integrate web interfaces, backend services, and APIs, while leveraging existing ecosystem assets 
  • Ensure high website performance (mobile and desktop) and accessibility 
  • Apply DevOps principles: write maintainable code, enable infrastructure reusability, and support continuous deployment 
  • Maintain Porsche-level quality and security through modern QA practices 
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, take product responsibility, and contribute to scaling across Porsche’s digital ecosystem 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG  

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but not required 
  • Strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (Node, Express, React, ES6+), HTML, and CSS 
  • AWS expertise, and AWS CDK; familiarity with other cloud services is a plus. 
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices 
  • Experience with version control (Git) and automated testing (e.g., Jest).
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT), RESTful APIs, and web security best practices.
  • Experience with functional programming, native development (without frameworks), or containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges. 
  • Product ownership mindset, with a sense of responsibility from conception to 
    deployment. 
  • Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding other developers. 
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
