Senior Agent Accounting International Franchise (m/f/d)

As part of our Finance & Franchise team, you ensure accurate and efficient financial operations across our business. You monitor payment flows, manage accounting processes, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee timely, precise, and compliant financial reporting. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You ensure smooth and timely payment flows by monitoring incoming and outgoing payments and following up on overdue items. 
• You handle credit card transactions end-to-end, including refunds and chargebacks, ensuring accuracy and prompt processing. 
• You reconcile accounts on a regular basis and perform quality checks on bookings, documents, and collective statements. 
• You support tax-related processes, including withholding tax refunds and tax parameterization in our systems. 
• You prepare the SIXT Interfacing, our monthly franchisee account statements and create invoices for goods and services as well as maintain invoicing parameters. 
• You act aatementd a key contact for interntal stakeholders and franchise partners, answering accounting-related inquiries, managing master data and contributing to process optimization and digitalization initiatives. 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You bring a commercial apprenticeship with strong accounting experience (3+ years) or a degree in Finance & Accounting with first relevant work experience. 
• You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and feel comfortable working with numbers and data. 
• You have very good English skills (minimum C1) and communicate clearly and confidently with different stakeholders. 
• You have hands-on experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system and enjoy working in structured environments. 
• You work independently, take initiative and apply strong analytical thinking to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions. 
• You are a team player with a proactive mindset, interested in digitalization trends and continuously improving accounting processes.
