Willingness to travel (20–30%) for client visits, trade shows, supplier meetings is essential. Mission Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Senior Account Manager will manage a portfolio of strategic clients and develop new business opportunities across Europe and internationally. The role includes both sales and sourcing responsibilities, with a strong degree of autonomy and ownership over customer accounts and supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Business Development Manage and grow a portfolio of active and strategic industrial and/or foodservice accounts Identify, target and convert new leads into loyal clients Detect market opportunities across different segments (bakery, confectionery, jam, dairy, frozen desserts…) Lead the full sales cycle: quotation, negotiation, closing, coordination with logistics & finance 🔹 Account Management Act as the main point of contact for key accounts Monitor KPIs: turnover, gross margin, client satisfaction Build long-term commercial relationships and action plans to secure loyalty 🔹 Sourcing & Procurement Actively contribute to sourcing strategy and supplier scouting Maintain a solid supplier network: reliable, traceable, compliant Coordinate volumes, specs, costings, quality expectations with supply chain and QA 🔹 Strategic & Operational Projects, Team animation and support Participate in the commercial structuring: CRM, reporting, commercial processes Contribute to transversal projects: new origin development (e.g. Egypt), new product launches (e.g. Squeeze & Blend gourmet line) Bring continuous improvement ideas and market feedback to the Management Team Co-animate team meetings and participate in the team structure and evolution Profile Higher education in International Trade, Agribusiness or Food Engineering Minimum 5–10 years of experience in B2B food sales, ideally in fruit ingredients or frozen foods (Industry and Food Service, two different profiles) Strong commercial network and client/supplier base, ideally across Europe (and beyond is a plus too!) Proven track record in negotiation, account management, and business development Solid understanding of fruit seasonality, sourcing challenges, and food industry dynamics Autonomous, structured, proactive, analytical Fluent in English (other languages a plus: French, Dutch, German, Spanish) Offer Full-time permanent contract (Dutch or local employment) Gross annual salary: €70,000 – €80,000, depending on experience + 8% holiday allowance (NL standard) + 10% annual bonus based on SMART KPIs + Commission on % gross margin - uncapped, once breakeven is reached (salary + travel) Possibility to Work remotely in Continental EU based on profiles (after an onboarding in the NL) Laptop, phone, travel costs covered Start Date ASAP – applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
