This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Security Solutions Architect (SSE/SASE) in the United States.

As a Security Solutions Architect, you will design and implement advanced network security solutions that transform customer environments. You will work hands-on with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures, firewalls, and network security technologies to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant infrastructure. Collaborating directly with clients, you will deliver technical guidance, lead deployments, and mentor customer teams while driving complex projects to completion. This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong consulting skills to help organizations adopt next-generation security frameworks. You will be part of a dynamic, high-impact environment where your work directly influences secure operations across enterprise networks.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement SASE solutions, integrating SD-WAN with cloud-delivered security services such as CASB, ZTNA, SWG, and FWaaS.
  • Provide technical network architecture solutions aligned with customer business requirements and security best practices.
  • Lead client-facing workshops, including discovery, design, planning, cutovers, and deployments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, Implementation Plans, and As-Builts.
  • Deploy and configure network firewalls (physical and virtual) and related security infrastructure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer security and network teams to ensure adoption and confidence in SASE and security transformations.
  • Research emerging network and security trends, applying insights to enhance solutions.
  • Mentor team members and transfer knowledge on SASE, firewall configuration, and network security best practices.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience as a Network Firewall Engineer, Cyber Defense Engineer, Security Engineer, or Network/Architect Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in SASE architecture, firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), and network security frameworks.
  • Experience integrating SD-WAN with cloud-delivered security services.
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols (eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP), Class of Service (CoS), and the OSI model.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-level technical implementations and consulting engagements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-project handling capabilities.
  • Willingness to perform after-hours deployments or cutovers as required.
  • Bonus: Experience with Fortinet EMS, Cisco Viptela, Palo Alto Prisma SASE, AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
