📍 Location: Bristol
💰 Pay: £13.00 per hour
📅 Hours: Average 42 hrs | 4 on, 4 off | 20:30–08:30 | Includes weekends

Grade: Site Based

Are you a calm, confident presence who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments? We’re looking for a professional Out-of-Hours Security Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors, crew, and deliveries during evening and night shifts.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing a friendly and approachable service.

🔎 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitor building access and maintain accurate visitor logs
• Liaise with production teams and contractors arriving after hours
• Respond to and escalate security incidents appropriately
• Handle incoming calls and coordinate with on-call staff
• Conduct regular patrols and ensure all areas are secure
• Complete daily security reports and handover notes

• Valid SIA License (SG/DS & CCTV)
• Previous experience in corporate or creative sector security
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm under pressure and quick-thinking
• Comfortable working independently and overnight

The ideal Security Officer will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate quick-thinking in challenging situations. As a Security Officer, you should be comfortable working independently and undertaking overnight shifts to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
