💰 Pay: £13.80
📅 Hours: Average 42 hrs 4 on 4 off days, nights and weekends

Criteria/Requirements

• UK National (required for clearance eligibility)
• Security Clearance (SC) and Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) cleared, or eligible to obtain both
• Valid SIA licence
• Prior experience in a similar security role (especially gatehouse or patrol duties)
• First Aid certification (current)

We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer who is a UK national to meet clearance eligibility requirements. The Security Officer must hold a valid SIA licence and either possess or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC) and Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. Prior experience in a similar security role, particularly involving gatehouse or patrol duties, is essential. Additionally, the Security Officer should have a current First Aid certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
