A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Catering Manager, from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Please note, the lifespan of this panel is dependent on the new restructuring within the HSE.
Purpose of the Post
The role of the Catering Manager is to manage and develop the Catering Services of Kilkenny Mental Health Services and South Tipperary Mental Health Services incorporating Acute Hospital.
To manage the production kitchen and all staff within the South Tipperary and Kilkenny Catering Department, in the performance of their duties and in conformity with the hospital, statutory and regulatory standards.
To provide oversight and organisational development, in collaboration with Senior Management line managers, of Mental Health Services catering staff.
The Catering Department provides a food production service, in compliance with all Food Hygiene Regulations/HACCP.
