On November 13th, the Distillery Historic District is transforming into a Winter Village, and we’re looking to populate it! The Winter Village is a place to create memories; a place that facilitates joy, celebration, family, and love into the New Year. The festival aims to help guests rediscover the magic and romance of the holidays by bringing together local artisanal food makers, craftspeople and musicians to the heart of the city again! If you love spreading joy and sharing smiles – we’d like you to join our village! Being one of Santa’s Elves is a magical role, you will ensure each and every person who you encounter at the Winter Village has a truly special experience. Elves are only ever seen by our visitors as Santa’s magical helpers, and not in any other capacity in order to keep the believability. This involves character work, endless energy and a lot of Christmas spirit. You must adhere to the Christmas Elf character at all times. Alongside Santa and your fellow Elves, you will deliver Christmas cheer to adults and children far and near as you stroll through the village, stopping for selfies and listening to the wants and wishes of good little children – and children at heart. A comprehensive and constant commitment to the Santa story, and a desire to make all our visitors’ dreams come true, is essential. Here's what the Village offers its Elves: $22 per hour Daily staff meals A pass to The Winter Village The opportunity to be a vital part of this celebrated winter festival in the city!
