Must haves:
<\/p>
- Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and implementing operating models within complex digital environments (including in public health\/government industries).
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience in the health care sector and public service, with existing positive relationships an asset
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience working across cross\-functional teamsâincluding clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
<\/span><\/li>
<\/ul>Responsibilities:
<\/p>
- Analyzes government information pertinent to business architecture, consults with appropriate government contacts on specific business architecture elements and conducts focus group workshops.
<\/span><\/li>
- Develops and maintains business capabilities of the enterprise in line with the corporate strategy as well as contributing to the business strategy and plans.
<\/span><\/li>
- Develops\/revises business architecture artefacts as part of the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework and ensures that these are vertically integrated.
<\/span><\/li>
- Models business at enterprise and\/or core business levels.
<\/span><\/li>
<\/ul>This also includes:
<\/p>
- Design of capability models and related architectural solutions of business tasks, mapping capability functionality to the internal and external resources,
<\/span><\/li>
- Developing business transformation plans jointly with senior business management,
<\/span><\/li>
- Handling business solutions to the delivery and operational business functions of the company
<\/span><\/li>
- Developing and maintaining architectural governance and controls over implementation
<\/span><\/li>
- For each step of the business transformation plan, business architects contribute in development of a blueprint of the enterprise in order to promote a common understanding of the organization and alignment of strategic objectives with tactical demands
<\/span><\/li>
<\/ul>Desired Skills:
<\/p>
- Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice
<\/span><\/li>
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
<\/span><\/li>
- Planning and implementation of information management strategy
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience translating business requirements into technical and functional requirements
<\/span><\/li>
- Proven experience and expertise with the development of Business Architecture for an acquired solution
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience utilizing techniques and strategies to elicit, identify, validate, analyze, model and document Business Architecture
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience with a wide range of methods, techniques and tools for business architecture such as, but not limited to: business functional modeling, service lifecycle modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping, value chain analysis, and other related disciplines
<\/span><\/li>
- Demonstrated experience participating in business systems requirements analysis and solution design activities
<\/span><\/li>
- Experience completing business architectures in government settings or similar complex, multi\-project\/multi\-client organizations
<\/span><\/li>
<\/ul>Required Skills:
<\/p>
- Strong documentation, and facilitation skillsâable to co\-design in collaborative sessions and communicate clearly with non\-technical partners
<\/span><\/li>
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills to evaluate opportunities for innovation with internal and external partners.
<\/span><\/li>
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, to communicate effectively with senior leaders, funders, and executives; communicate in a high\-risk environment, discuss technical concepts, produce documents.
<\/span><\/li>
- Ability to apply conceptual models to planning to product actionable execution approaches.
<\/span><\/li>
- Proficiency in business architecture methods and tools, such as business process mapping, capability modeling, and value stream analysis, with a focus on digital health, interoperability, and clinical data governance.
<\/span><\/li>
- Ability to identify the work required and organize, facilitate and\/or perform the work with only limited guidance.
<\/span><\/li>
