Position: General Manager Location: St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands About the Company An established and growing hospitality and gaming group in the U.S. Virgin Islands with a diverse portfolio of video gaming lounges, beachside restaurants, and entertainment venues. The company is expanding its footprint with a new concept in Red Hook Hill, St. Thomas, an immersive Cuban-inspired dining and nightlife experience paired with video gaming and slots. About the Position We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead the pre-opening and daily operations of a vibrant Cuban cuisine restaurant with a nightlife and gaming component. The venue will be located in a prime waterfront location in Red Hook Hill and will feature approximately 3,500 square feet of indoor dining space, an expansive outdoor deck, and a mezzanine level. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the group’s Director of F&B Operations and CEO. The General Manager will be instrumental in launching and operating a destination venue combining authentic Cuban cuisine, live entertainment, and regulated video lottery gaming. About the Job The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the pre-opening and opening phases as well as day-to-day operations post-launch. Key responsibilities include: Leading the pre-opening process Developing SOPs, operational workflows, and service standards Hiring, onboarding, and training all FOH and BOH team members Setting policies, procedures, and venue-specific protocols Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and group departments Full P&L accountability, budgeting, and financial reporting Staff scheduling, development, and performance management Ensuring high levels of guest experience and service delivery Overseeing entertainment, music programming, and event execution Managing inventory, compliance, and gaming operations coordination What You Will Need U.S. Resident or Green Card Holder (requirement for employment) Minimum 2 years as a General Manager in a casual or upscale restaurant with nightlife/music/entertainment elements 10 years total experience in restaurant or F&B operations Experience with Cuban cuisine is a strong advantage Proven pre-opening and restaurant launch experience preferred Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, cost controls, and operations Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field Stable work history with verifiable references and background checks Strong leadership, communication, and guest engagement skills What You Get Salary: $100,000 gross per annum Performance-based incentives/bonus structure Company-provided housing for up to 6 months Medical insurance coverage Joining flights from your current U.S. location Relocation assistance to St. Thomas
