This role is pivotal in overseeing company-wide planning, resource allocation, and utilization management for a consulting organization with around 300 employees. The manager will ensure optimal deployment of resources while achieving utilization targets, balancing quality delivery, and maintaining employee satisfaction. This position involves strategic operations with a direct influence on revenue and organizational growth. Working within the operations team, the manager will coordinate between various practices and leadership teams to streamline resource allocation processes.

Accountabilities

  • Drive company-wide capacity planning and resource management.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient resource operations system.
  • Ensure alignment between onshore and offshore teams for optimal results.
  • Achieve and sustain 75% utilization across practices.
  • Provide real-time insights into resource capacity and demand.
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to align resources with operational needs.

  • Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in consulting or professional services.
  • Direct experience in resource management and capacity planning.
  • Expertise in utilization tracking and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work in multi-practice environments.
