Reservations Agent

The Maryborough Hotel is seeking an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team on a full-time basis (5 days over 7).

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing reservations via phone, email, and third-party booking sites
• Processing bookings, amendments, and cancellations
• Issuing confirmations and handling guest queries
• Maximising revenue through effective sales techniques
• Reviewing daily arrivals/departures and occupancy forecasts
• Assisting with reporting and weekly management meetings
• Handling VIP and repeat guest requests
• Supporting and training new team members

Requirements:

• Previous hotel reservations experience (essential)
• Experience using Hotsoft
• Fluent English - both verbal and written 
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive, detail-oriented attitude
