Salary: £60-70k + bonus Location: Remote Are you a senior research professional with deep experience in Youth/Higher Learning and a knack for building strong client relationships? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected insights consultancy as a Research Director, leading impactful projects across the education and related sectors. This is a role for someone who loves the blend of research leadership, client management, and commercial growth. You’ll take the reins on key projects, mentor a talented team, and help shape the strategic direction of a trusted specialist agency. Key Responsibilities Leading end-to-end delivery of research projects. Ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction across your portfolio. Driving new business opportunities – from proposals and pitches to developing the sector pipeline. Partnering with the Managing Director on strategy, sales, and team development. Developing and nurturing strong client relationships while supporting the team to do the same. About you A mixed-methods research leader with strong qualitative and quantitative understanding. Deep knowledge or experience of the youth/higher learning/student sector. Proven ability to lead teams, manage clients, and oversee high-quality research delivery. A strong commercial mindset: confident leading proposals, shaping pitches, and driving new business opportunities. While experience is valuable, the eagerness to get involved is the key. Confident, collaborative, and able to step in seamlessly to keep projects running smoothly.
