General Job description and person specification Job Holder: Vacancy Job Title: Reporting Accountant – BIDAC (FTC) Division: Finance Reports To: As per Beazley’s organizational chart Key Relationships: Beazley finance team, Beazley actuarial team, Beazley operations team, external audit, internal audit and external advisors. Job Summary: To support the Beazley Insurance dac (‘BIDAC’) FP&A Manager with key internal and external reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of key internal management information for onward submission to the relevant internal committees and governance forums. Assisting where required the group regulatory reporting team and actuaries with key inputs into solvency II reporting. Preparation of various regulatory and other returns to support the branches as required. Liaising with the Beazley group tax team in respect of branch level tax considerations and reporting. Input in planning process and key planning assumptions as required. Analytical review of company and branch level performance versus plan. Engage with external auditors as required to support the audit processes for BIDAC, covering head office reporting in Dublin and branch level audit activity throughout Europe. Work with key stakeholders such as external reporting team and credit control team to address internal and external audit points in a timely manner. Assisting in preparation of statutory accounts as required. Ad hoc reporting including co-ordination and collection of information to prepare internal reports. Liaise with Credit Control, Treasury Team, Operations and other Finance Teams as appropriate.
