SUMMARY

Managing renewal business and endorsements by gathering information, quoting and negotiating with brokers on renewals with the support, guidance and mentorship of Underwriters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following:

• Work collaboratively with underwriters within a dynamic team structure
• Perform underwriting support functions
• Manage renewal business for underwriters by gathering information, quoting, and negotiating with brokers on renewals  with the guidance and mentorship of underwriters
• Use company strategy to retain existing business, and contribute to team goals
• Handle endorsements & cancellations including accurate premium calculation
• Communicate with brokers via e-mail and telephone
• Other duties as assigned

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATION

Level 1 General Insurance License (or actively pursuing)- REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS

  Salary Range: $45,000-$52,000 CAD annually Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Package may include base pay, commissions, and/or bonuses
