In this role, you will design and develop robust back-end systems used by millions of users, critically impacting user experiences and operational efficiency. Your expertise in back-end development will contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack. As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with cross-functional members to shape the evolution of our systems, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, security, and reliability.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and scale back-end systems that serve millions of users
  • Power amazing user experiences by building new features and improving existing ones
  • Evaluate and refine solutions to deliver a highly performant and exceptionally reliable back-end system
  • Become an expert in back-end development and expand your development across the stack and to various platforms
  • Collaborate across teams to define how our systems should evolve
  • Support code quality, new technologies, and architectural design within the company
  • Uphold and advance the security and reliability of systems

    • Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on back-end development
  • Expertise in Go, TypeScript, or Python
  • Deep expertise in architecting for performance and scale
  • Strong communication skills across various mediums, particularly in asynchronous environments
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for project outcomes
  • Demonstrated bias to action and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
