What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a professional and reliable individual who can:

• Provide a visible and proactive security presence across multiple sites.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.

Essential Criteria

• Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends.
• Own transport is essential due to the nature of the role.
• Must be a UK national to meet vetting requirements.
• Eligible for BPSS and SC clearance (Security Check) for certain locations.
• SIA Door Supervisor licence preferred.

We are seeking a Relief Security Officer who can demonstrate flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends, to ensure consistent security coverage. The Relief Security Officer must have their own transport due to the nature of the role and be a UK national to meet strict vetting requirements. Eligibility for BPSS and SC clearance is essential for certain locations, and holding an SIA Door Supervisor licence is preferred. As a Relief Security Officer, you will provide vital support across multiple sites, maintaining the highest standards of security and professionalism.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
