Job Details As a relief courier, you will play a vital role in the delivery of mail for all services within Fife Council. You will work on your own and be expected to work using your own initiative, delivering mail to various Fife Council buildings following a set timetable; mail handling within Fife House mailroom, handling customer enquiries and communicating any issues to the Team Co-ordinator. You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including: We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post. The Person Ability to travel within Fife Ability to undertake physical tasks Good communication skills – being aware of any delays, advising these to the buildings attended on the rota and the management team Good timekeeping Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
