As a Rehoming Coordinator at Dogs Trust, you'll play a key role in finding loving homes for our dogs, supporting adopters and helping reduce the time dogs spend in our care. Please note this role is part time working 15 hours per week. About this job: As a Rehoming Coordinator you will: Champion the rehoming journey by providing excellent customer service, matching dogs to adopters, and arranging safe introductions, including occasional home visits. Maintain oversight of dog status across kennels, Foster and Home Stay, responding to enquiries and proactively seeking rehoming opportunities. Promote dogs ready for adoption by creating engaging online profiles and images, working closely with the Media Coordinator. Support the rehoming of long-term and complex dogs by liaising with the Behaviour and Welfare teams to communicate specific needs. Welcome and assist visitors during public opening hours, complete adoption paperwork, and contribute to kennel care as part of the wider team. Could this be you? With an experience of working in a rehoming centre environment you will have great customer service and communication skills. Knowledgeable about dogs and their welfare you will have good organisational and time management skills.
