We are currently seeking an individual to join the team as Regional Surveillance Officer. What you will be doing: - Support the Regional Senior Surveillance Manager inexecution of their duties and priorities, as directed by the Regional Head of Surveillance. Resolution of ad-hoc issues – escalating blockers, issues and risks to the Surveillance Programme. Assist in the delivery of Enhanced Surveillance reviews. Provide support for alert triage across asset classes, capabilities and business lines as directed by the Regional Head of Surveillance. Supporting stewardship over escalations from COE analysts through to closure. To be successful in this role you should have: - A strong understanding of market abuse and relevant industry regulations, such as: MAR, MIFID, the FCA Handbook and other relevant global regulations. Experience in using Surveillance tools across e-comms, voice and trade. The ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear, concise, and precise written and verbal format is essential. The ability to self-motivate and self-manage delivery of competing workloads. Possession of an inquisitive and investigative mind-set, and a willingness to learn and develop is key to success in this role. The role location will be London.
