We are currently seeking an individual to join the team as Regional Senior Surveillance Manager. What you will be doing: - Support the Regional Head of Surveillance on a day-to-day basis providing ad-hoc support and resolution of non-BAU issues. Key contributor to local co-ordination of GRA, Compliance Assurance and regulatory reviews. Oversight and co-ordination of enhanced surveillance activities. Oversee and report on casework ageing, co-ordinating with COEs and Floor Surveillance Officers, ensuring clear line of sight to Regional Head. Ensure swift escalation and documentation of issues impacting the UK Surveillance Programme. To be successful in this role you should have: - Strong knowledge of market abuse and relevant industry regulations, such as: MAR, MIFID, the FCA Handbook and other relevant global regulations. Robust knowledge across financial markets and products. Deep knowledge of Surveillance process, procedure and systems. The ability to self-motivate and self-manage, maintaining grip on delivery of competing workloads. An ability to think strategically, laterally and demonstrate resilience.
