What is this role about?
Reed is currently bidding for the Money Guiders England Community Network contract, which is due to be awarded at the end of October and will go live on the 14 November 2025.
Money Guiders aims to provide training, support, knowledge, skills, and confidence to individuals and organisations across the UK who deliver any kind of money guidance to the public. The community of practice has developed over 1300 members. The new service being procured focuses on providing more learning opportunities and ways to connect, and aims to increase the reach of the network. It will offer a range of large and small-scale network events, from local geographic areas to larger regions, in a range of different in-person formats along with online community forums, groups and communication channels.
This is a remote role, however you will be expected to travel within London, the South East and the South West for events. Therefore, you must be located in this area.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Stakeholder Engagement
Support with the creation of localised stakeholder engagement strategies in their own Super Regions. Research and identify key target stakeholders and prospective Network members. Develop stakeholder engagement and outreach strategies to ensure the network grows in accordance with KPIs. Attending events to promote greater awareness of the Network.
Management of the Regional Network
Point of contact for members in their region, managing onboarding, responding to queries, and maintaining records. Undertake outreach and engagement activities, primarily desk-based, with some in-person work, to raise awareness and identify referral/signposting opportunities. Contribute to Focus Groups and participate in UK-wide Network Huddles / Content Meetings. Successfully engages and recruits new practitioners and organisations onto the Network through sales and promotional marketing activities.
Event Planning
Plans and delivers at least 2 events in each of the 3 areas within their region, per annum. Sources guest speakers, ensures contingency, prepares agendas and venues, handling participant special/accessibility requests.
Session Delivery
Delivers a range of events including online clinics, webinars, workshops, peer-learning sessions, training, in-person events and annual conferences. Experience of effectively developing/distributing engaging/impactful content.
Marketing & Communications
Gather success stories and case studies, source newsletter content, and support the curation of social media and marketing content and Community Hub moderation, working closely with the internal Marketing & Communications team. Participate in filming and recording for webinars, social media posts and promotional videos.

Essential Criteria
Knowledge of the financial wellbeing and money guidance landscape in England.
Experience of organising, hosting and facilitating community events (in person and online) e.g. conferences, webinars, forums, workshops, action learning, or training events.
Strong networking and relationship building skills with the ability to form and maintain sustainable partnerships with community members and external stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively across a range of internal and external stakeholders and audiences across different media (both written and public speaking / facilitation experience).
Confident and comfortable presenting to groups, at times with hundreds of attendees.
Be willing to be filmed/recorded for webinars, social media posts and promotional videos.
Willingness to travel.

Experience working within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
