Test Analyst - Systems Integration Focus Rate: £325pd (Inside IR35) Duration: 3 months initially Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)   Are you an experienced Test Analyst ready to dive into the technical depth of systems integration? At Ten10, we are looking for a proactive, technically minded analyst to join our team on an interim basis. This role is highly focused on ensuring the quality of complex, interconnected back-end systems.   The Role: Integration & Back-End Testing Specialist You will be responsible for testing and validating the seamless integration of our client's back-end systems. This role requires more than just functional testing—you must be comfortable validating data flows, connectivity, and technical integration points.   We need a candidate who is naturally inquisitive, asks tough questions to challenge assumptions, and is comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment where direction may shift. While you must be eager to learn, you need a solid base of prior experience to contribute effectively from day one.   What You’ll Be Doing: * Systems Integration Testing (SIT): Execute comprehensive test scripts and plans with a specific focus on end-to-end technical validation across multiple integrated systems and environments. * Database Testing & SQL: Actively test databases and perform hands-on data validation. You will need to write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity, movement, and transaction accuracy between systems. * Azure DevOps Utilisation: Use Azure DevOps as the primary tool for managing test cases, logging defects, and collaborating on testing progress. * Technical Validation: Focus testing efforts on the underlying technical components like APIs, Middleware, and service connectivity, ensuring reliable integration. * Adaptability: Navigate and excel in a project environment that is often unstructured and rapidly changing. Proactively identify ambiguities in requirements and seek clarification. * Reporting: Accurately document test results, defects, and integration risks, providing clear technical feedback to the development teams.   What We’re Looking For We're seeking a skilled Test Analyst who is adaptable, technical, and ready for a challenging integration role.   Key Skills & Experience: * Proven experience (5+ years) as a Test Analyst, with a strong focus on Systems Integration Testing (SIT). * Essential: Practical, hands-on experience in back-end / technical testing, including validating data and functionality between integrated systems. * Must have: Solid ability to write and execute SQL queries for database validation and integrity checks. * Strong practical experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking. * Comfortable working in dynamic, less-structured environments where requirements and priorities change frequently. * A demonstrable track record of being inquisitive, asking clarifying questions, and digging into the 'how' and 'why' of system behaviour. * Technical understanding of APIs, Middleware, microservices, or similar technical integration points. * Experience working within Waterfall methodologies is preferred for this role.   Ready to Make an Impact?
