Receptionist – Shannon Falls Retirement Residence Location: Squamish, British Columbia Setting: Independent Living & Assisted Living Position Type: Part Time, Casual Be the Welcoming Face of Shannon Falls! Shannon Falls Retirement Residence is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Clerk to join our team, serving as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. If you’re passionate about making a difference and creating a safe, welcoming environment, we want to meet you! What You’ll Do: Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries Perform clerical duties: filing, word processing, sorting/distributing mail Manage office supplies and equipment (printers, fax, photocopiers) Handle residents’ trust accounts, payments, reconciliations, and bank deposits Maintain and update essential lists (emergency contacts, resident lists) Book visitor suites, manage keys, and process related payments Support shipping/receiving and restock supplies as needed Keep accurate records for resident statistics, trust accounts, and petty cash Participate in meetings, take minutes, and support training/orientation Advocate for residents’ needs and maintain confidentiality Assist with accounts payable, audits, and monthly payment slips Promote and uphold health and safety standards What You Bring: Grade 12 education (recent related experience an asset) Strong computer skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English) Organizational and conflict resolution abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to perform job duties (lifting up to 30 lbs, sitting, walking, bending, etc.) Commitment to resident safety and confidentiality Criminal Records check required Why Join Us?
