Under the supervision of the Ramp Supervisor, the incumbent acts as a ramp agent. He/she performs the work of the ramp agent and provides a safe, professional, courteous and polite experience for passengers and crew members. Description of the main duties: Greet passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous and respectful manner; Respect at all times the application of safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar; Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance; Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals; Tow aircraft; Refuel aircraft; Load/unload; Transport passengers/crew members; Other related tasks. Conditions Available Monday to Sunday Irregular schedule Must have a Canadian work permit at a minimum; Valid driver's license (class 5); Class 3 driver’s license (an asset); Hold an Airside "D" Driver's Licence (AVOP), or be prepared to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment; Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC); Bilingual (French and English spoken); Experience in aviation (an asset); High school diploma or equivalent; Ability to work in different climatic conditions (hot and cold); Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
