The Quantum System Specialist will lead the integration and optimization of quantum computing technologies within enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role bridges the gap between cutting-edge quantum solutions and business processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improved workflows. The specialist will continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide guidance on the application of quantum technologies. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also supports staff training, operational improvements, and alignment with long-term business objectives. Security clearance eligibility and adaptability to evolving quantum technologies are key to thriving in this position.
Accountabilities:
· Analyze and assess ERP systems to identify opportunities for quantum computing integration.
· Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement quantum solutions that enhance workflows and efficiency.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot quantum applications to ensure optimal functionality.
· Provide training and guidance to staff on the use and impact of quantum technologies within business processes.
· Stay current with advancements in quantum computing and recommend best practices for implementation.
· Support the strategic alignment of quantum technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
Requirements
· Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, with at least four (4) years involving quantum technology applications.
· Experience with ERP systems and understanding of quantum computing principles.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance and U.S. passport.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Familiarity with quantum programming languages and Oracle database language preferred.
· Experience with U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, USAF/AFSAC, or international defense projects is a plus.
· Adaptability to evolving technologies and ability to learn new systems quickly.
