Position Title: Quality Assurance Representative (temporary)   DATE POSTED: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2025   DEPARTMENT: QUALITY    CLOSING DATE: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2025 @ 4:00 PM   REPORTS TO: SENIOR QA REPRESENTATIVE/QA COORDINATOR/QUALITY ASSISTANT MANAGER   NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1   HOURS OF WORK: ALL         Job Summary The Quality Assurance Representative with support the Quality team in multiple departments in ongoing changes to improve Vuteq’s quality system through quality testing practices and data management.  Duties and Responsibilities * The requirements are inherent to ongoing demands and may change to continually improve the quality system through assignments accordingly.  * Selects products for tests at different stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities (dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, chemical characteristics, etc.) * Record tests data, applying statistical quality control procedures * Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards * Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability * Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics * Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis * Maintain organized and up-to-date records in accordance with the Vuteq System requirements, and analyze records/data for defects/countermeasures/provide visual aids for decision making Job Qualifications Education * Quality Assurance Certificate is considered an asset  Experience * A working understanding of PC computer software programs and usage including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and databases. * Automotive product/process knowledge * Familiarity with blueprint reading  Skills and Abilities * Strong math skills * Demonstrate judgment in addressing and investigating quality concerns in a timely manner * Work with personnel in implementing and verifying root cause countermeasures with follow up * Good verbal and written communication skills; interact with customers and suppliers in a professional manner  * Possess good people skills with the ability to identify and incorporate individual talents into a teamwork environment.  * Maintain a positive attitude and keep an open mind for potential improvements to the quality system  This position is required to make trips to our customer as needed.  Currently, our customers require proof of vaccination to be permitted into their facilities.  As a result, all interviewees for this role should be prepared to demonstrate vaccination status.   **NOTE: Accepting a new position after a successful interview commits you to that role for a minimum of 6 months** If you have any questions concerning the above job, please speak with Andre Seguin, Neil Lindsay or Tanya Praught.
