Overview We are seeking a passionate individual who is dedicated to ensuring excellence and supporting the growth and development of others to join our team of Quality Assurance experts to provide leadership support and oversight of our audit function on an 18-month FTC basis. If you have experience within the insurance industry, alongside proven leadership capabilities, we are particularly interested in hearing from you. Your expertise, sound judgment, and compliance track record will be invaluable in keeping our organisation on the right track. You will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team of Quality Experts and will be the primary point of contact for resolving issues. We are open to considering candidates who will work remotely, with the expectation of traveling across the UK. Travel costs will be covered. How you'll make an impact Coordinating assurance activity by leading all aspects of resourcing, monitoring workload management, addressing conduct trends, and ensuring effective training, development, and retention strategies. Ensure audits are conducted accurately in line with our monitoring requirements. Manage internal relationships and proactively engage with key stakeholders to enable safe trading. Coordinate the team, conducting performance reviews, setting goals, supporting workload management, and serving as the point of contact for the team. Support the Governance team in delivering the key priorities. Collaborate with Regional teams to provide necessary information and reporting. Work with offshore teams to ensure quality of audits and development of this function. Promote good business behaviours, such as meeting preparation, active engagement, and timely response to requests. Encourage teams to explore new oversight opportunities to expand services. Contribute to and engage with projects to support the achievement of the business's core goals and initiatives. Keep up to date with industry knowledge to ensure appropriate proficiency levels are maintained, especially Financial Conduct Authority compliance requirements About You Team Leader experience within insurance. Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII would be an advantage. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with an intermediate knowledge of the commercial insurance industry. Previous experience in the insurance industry, as is having worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLAs. Risk aware, client centric, focussed on the best possible outcome for our clients at all times. Due diligence and process driven to deadlines, task focused, results oriented and takes initiative when assisting team members. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, confident when building and maintaining rapport, strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
